Violette inherited a cheese shop named Guadafellas from her Uncle Mateo. Her original intent is to clear it out and sell the property. However, she is surprised to discover four cheeseman living in the hidden cellar if the store. The men are cursed to be cheese by day only turning back into men when the sun sets. Roq, the leader of the cheesemen, convinces Violette to hold onto the store for three months to sell their hidden inventory of cheese. 


In the meantime, Violette becomes attracted to all four men and starts hooking up with them. She starts with shy, quiet Brie, much to the other’s surprise. Next is Cam and Cheddy together. Roq doesn't come until much later, as it takes a while for him to warm up to her. As the months pass, Violette becomes more attached to both her cheese shop and to get cheesemen. She’s not sure she can give either up at the end of three months.


“Why Cheese” is a punny why choose romance. Each of the cheesemen is named for a different cheese, with personalities to match. Shy Violette slowly opens up to her men, just as they open up and learn to trust her. The steamy scenes are very hot, and get more so as the book progresses. There is also a pit of fun flirty banter. I enjoyed this book and rate it four stars.
