Grayson, an alpha wolf shifter, and Wyatt, an omega giraffe shifter, first meet through a hookup app when they’re both in Dallas. No names are exchanged and they never expect to see each other again. However, Grayson, being much more experienced, recognizes the lightning between them for the pull of fated mates. Unfortunately, he ignores it and says nothing to Wyatt, leaving him sleeping in the hotel room after their encounter.

Despite using precautions, Wyatt still ends up pregnant. He has no intention of finding Grayson and intends to raise their daughter alone. However, he still ends up in Sweet Alps where he just purchased a daycare and Grayson is the sheriff. He ends up going into labor in traffic a month early and Grayson is the one to deliver the baby. After seeing his mate again, along with his daughter, Grayson changes his mind about wanting to be in a relationship. Wyatt, is not so sure, especially after he finds out that Grayson knew they were fated and walked out on him anyway.

In “His Innocent Omega”, Wyatt and Grayson share a unique connection that goes beyond their mutual concern for their daughter. Initially, Wyatt is hesitant to enter into a romantic relationship with Grayson, but as he begins to see Grayson's unwavering commitment to him and their family, he gradually lets him into his life. The book features several steamy scenes, starting from their first hook-up, which adds to the relationship dynamic between the two men. Overall, I found the book to be an enjoyable read, and I would rate it four stars out of five.
